Pete Moncheck

Board of Directors

Pete Monchek serves as a member of the ETA Board and sits on the Donor Fund Committee. He has over forty years of experience in the health and fitness industry as an owner and operator in the local community as well as the real estate sector.

Throughout his adult life, Pete has been dedicated to coaching and mentoring young people. From the very beginning of ETA, he has shown a deep passion for nurturing the program’s growth and supporting the development of its participants.

Pete maintains long-standing, meaningful relationships with influential members of the local philanthropic and nonprofit communities. He has played a significant role in fundraising and consulting for organizations such as the Riekes Center—which serves disadvantaged youth—and the Reading Recovery Program at Fiesta Gardens International School, a Spanish-English dual immersion program in San Mateo.

Driven by a purpose to help others lead their best lives, Pete focuses on cultivating beliefs, knowledge, skills, habits, discipline, and behaviors that empower individuals to succeed. He believes ETA’s mission is vital for providing young people in the community with the opportunities they need to grow into healthy and purposeful adults.

On a personal level, Pete enjoys a wide array of physical activities, with a particular enthusiasm for table tennis and boxing. He has a passion for learning new things, great music of all genres, loves watching basketball.
